Toronto - Marc Garneau, Canada’s first astronaut in space, unveiled today the newly refurbished CA Planetarium at the Ontario Science Centre. Toronto’s only public planetarium now has state-of-the art multimedia technology thanks in part to a five-year contribution from enterprise software company CA Canada.

Toronto - Lesley Lewis, CEO of the Ontario Science Centre (OSC) in Toronto, Canada, was elected president of the Association of Science-Technology Centers’ Board of Directors at the 2007 ASTC Annual Conference in Los Angeles, California. She is the first Canadian to serve in this role.

Richmond, BC - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a contract for €1M with EADS Astrium (UK), to provide an advanced technology solution for ExoMars, the upcoming Mars mission of the European Space Agency (ESA). MDA will design a robotic chassis for the ExoMars rover, and provide a prototype solution for testing at ESA in 2008.
Bell mobile phone take-back program supports WWF-Canada

Toronto - Bell Canada will donate one dollar to WWF-Canada for every mobile phone or personal digital assistant (PDA) returned through the company's award-winning Mobile Take-Back Program. Mobile phones collected through the Bell Mobile Take-Back Program are refurbished for reuse or dismantled and recycled.
