New ROM Family Weekends

These entertaining events are available FREE with Museum admission, beginning January 12, 2008.

Toronto - English country dancing returns to Fort York National Historic Site on Saturday, January 19 with the 7th annual Queen Charlotte’s Birthday Ball. In honour of this year’s special focus on Portugal and the 200th anniversary of the start of the Peninsular War, the occasion will include an instructive port tasting.

Toronto - Reservations start tomorrow for the hugely popular prix-fixe restaurant promotion, Winterlicious presented by American Express. Now in its sixth year, Winterlicious features 130 participating restaurants offering three-course prix-fixe menus at $15 or $20 for lunch and $25 or $35 for dinner. Winterlicious runs from January 25 to February 7.
