Toronto - On Friday, October 12, 2007, the Toronto Police Service and Rogers Cable will launch the annual Rogers Pumpkin Patrol safety campaign to help keep the streets safe for children this Halloween.
Toronto - The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault that took place on October 14th at approximately 2 a.m. in the Danforth Avenue/Langford Avenue area.  The suspect is described as white, with a dark complexion, between 20 and 30, 5’10”, with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Toronto - In September 2007, police received information on the cloning of internet modems.  Michael Wong, 29, of Toronto and Jeremy Coffin , 31, of Toronto have been charged.
Toronto - The Toronto Police Service would like to alert the public about a suspicious man who is reported to have approached a child in the Coxwell Avenue/Ashland Avenue area.
Toronto - On Thursday, October 18, 2007, at about 1:20 p.m., police responded to a call for an impaired driver in a late-model GMC pickup truck.  Edward Skotnicki, 52, of no fixed address, has been charged in impaired-driving investigation.
Toronto - Detectives from 32 Division have arrested a doctor for fraud for allegedly continuing to practise after being suspended by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

Created by DDB in Toronto, the out-of-home campaign aims to raise awareness and encourage more people to call the anonymous Toronto Crime Stoppers tips hotline at 222-TIPS with information about the location of an illegal handgun.

Man arrested for downtown stabbings

Toronto - On Tuesday, October 23, 2007, in the downtown area, three people were stabbed with a knife.  Farid Marounisi, 24, of no fixed address, has been charged with 3 counts of Attempted Murder, Possession of Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, and Carry Concealed Weapon.
Toronto - During the early spring of 2007, the TPS experienced an increase in the number of commercial break-and-enters across the city. On Saturday, September 1, 2007, two men and a woman were arrested. It is alleged that there were over 200 other break-and-enters, totalling $250,000 in lost property.
Toronto - The Toronto Police Service United Way fundraising committee will be selling thousands of Halloween glowsticks for $2 at Union Station on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 and Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at 6 a.m.
