Toronto - The 2007 CFL season begins today as the Toronto Argonauts take on the 2006 Grey Cup champion B.C. Lions in a special 6:30 p.m. start time at Rogers Centre.  The road to the Cup starts now, as tomorrow’s game will have a Grey Cup theme.
Toronto - Joe Smith's two third-quarter touchdowns rallied the Grey Cup-champion B.C. Lions to a 24-22 win over the Toronto Argonauts in the first game of the CFL season Thursday night.
Toronto - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club would like to congratulate return specialist Bashir Levingston on being named CFL Special Teams Player of the Week for CFL Week 1. This is the 13th time in his career that Levingston has earned the award.
Toronto - On Tuesday, July 10 from 10:00 a.m. to noon, Cody Bell of Ingleside, Ontario will join Toronto Argonauts stars Arland Bruce III and Byron Parker to film a new War Amps PLAYSAFE public service announcement.
Toronto - For the first time ever, the Toronto Argonauts will wear a special third jersey in game action on Thursday, July 26 at 7:00 p.m.  The jersey see the Argos return to their true “Double Blue” roots as the light blue jersey will be worn with the dark blue pants, representing the team’s Oxford and Cambridge heritage.
Toronto - The Toronto Argonauts Blue Thunder Cheerleaders invite fans to celebrate the 2008 calendar launch with them as the ladies will host a club night to preview the calendar on Tuesday, August 7 at C-Lounge in downtown Toronto.

Argos Announce $5 Fridays

Toronto - It’s Friday Night Football in the city and the Toronto Argonauts, in conjunction with the Toronto Star, are pleased to offer a one-time only deal for CFL fans as 500 level tickets to Friday’s game will cost a mere $5.

Toronto - Football fans have a million reasons to enter TSN's annual CFL contest, and the chances of winning this year just got a lot bigger.  The million-dollar event will air live during the Friday Night Football halftime show on October 12, featuring the Montreal Alouettes @ Toronto Argonauts.
Toronto - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is saddened to announce the loss of former defensive back Boyd Carter who passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Toronto - With the All-Time Argos program in full swing, two of the nominees will be side-by-each for the first time since 2005 when Joe “King” Krol and Royal Copeland, also known as the Gold Dust Twins, join fellow Argos alumni at a luncheon in downtown Toronto.
