Toronto - The TTC's Station Modernization Program will be officially launched on Thursday, July 12th, at 3 p.m. at Pape Station. TTC Chair Adam Giambrone will kick-off the program, which will be followed by a public Open House tomorrow night.

TTC Makes Major Budget Cuts

Toronto - At an emergency meeting held on July 20, 2007, the Toronto Transit Commission cut operating costs by between $4 and $5 million in an initial response to the City's request for $30 million in cuts in 2007.
Toronto - On Sunday, August 5th the TTC will introduce service changes to 512 St Clair and Scarborough RT.
Toronto - The TTC is making travel faster and a lot more frequent on routes heading to this long weekend's Caribana Parade. Here are the service details for the better way to summer music and fun.
Toronto - Avoid high parking costs by leaving the car at home and take the TTC to Cirque du Soleil from August 9 to October 7.  The Cirque du Soleil presentation of "Kooza" will take place at the Toronto Port Lands at Cherry Street and Commissioners Street. Convenient TTC bus service to the Cirque du Soleil is provided from Union Station.
Toronto - The TTC will have extra buses and streetcars on all routes heading to the Canadian National Exhibition. Here are The EX-tra services that will be running for the duration of the CNE, starting on Friday, August 17.
Toronto - On Saturday, August 18 (Warriors' Day at the CNE), Canadian veterans of war and peacekeeping missions can ride the TTC free of charge.
Toronto - When you visit the CNE this year, check out the TTC Streetcars of Tomorrow display outside the Direct Energy Centre, near the Princes' Gates. Two examples of light rail vehicles that are in service in other world cities are there for the public viewing.
Toronto - The 29th Annual TTC Subway Musicians' Auditions get under way tomorrow, Friday, August 17, with the official ribbon cutting by TTC Commissioner Suzan Hall and CNE President Knox Henry, as well as a special appearance by Streetcar Operator Jeff Vogyesi, the TTC's newest music idol.
Toronto - Beginning Monday, August 27, for two weeks, the TTC will ask Torontonians what kind of TTC they want - for today and for the future. There will be a survey online and in brochures on buses, streetcars, and subways.
