Toronto, July 18, 2007 - The Toronto Blue Jays and Rogers Centre are pleased to announce the appointment of John Boots, C.A. to the position of Vice President, Finance and Administration.

Boots has spent the last four years with MTI Global Inc. as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to working for MTI, the University of Windsor graduate held the position of Vice President, Finance and Administration for Key Media, Canada's third largest magazine publishing company.

"I am delighted that John Boots is joining us. His experience and breadth of knowledge in the financial world, as well as his great love of the Blue Jays, will serve him well in his new position," commented Paul Godfrey, President and CEO, Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club and Rogers Centre.

He will assume his new responsibilities on August 1, 2007.
