Gun & Gang Task Force

On Tuesday, July 3, 2007, police responded to a radio call to a self-storage business in the
Kennedy Road/Steeles Avenue area.

The attending officers learned of a cache of guns, explosives and drugs in one of the units within the storage facility.

As a result, members of the Gun and Gang Task Force started an investigation which has resulted in the issuing of a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Steven Duong, 25.

It is alleged that:

- Steven Duong had care, control and knowledge of the storage unit and its contents,

- the potential for loss of life and/or serious bodily harm was averted by the discovery of this storage unit.

Investigators believe that Steven Duong is hiding out with family or friends in the Greater Toronto Area, possibly in the
Vaughan or Woodbridge areas. He may be driving a 2000 white Honda Prelude with Ontario licence plate AYHH 800.

Police are seeking the public's assistance locating him. He should not be approached as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Gun and Gang Task Force at 416-808-2510, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or online at
