Best-selling author and TV personality Ellie Rubin asks the question of her audience during her May 28th ROM appearance

Toronto - For one night only, acclaimed author and TV personality Ellie Rubin discusses the key issues concerning contemporary women during her Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) appearance. Ellie speaks at the ROM on Wednesday, May 28th at 6:00 pm as part of the Museum’s wide-ranging, popular ROMLife series of events.

Challenged by the time and energy requirements of family, home and work, as well as personal needs, today’s women of all walks of life and in cities all over the world, spend many nights awake and worrying. While their specific worries may vary, the mere act of worrying is the common thread. Contemporary women often find themselves torn between the time and energy they must find for their families, their homes, their work and, often lastly, themselves.

During her talk, designed to address the key issues giving modern women these night sweats, Ellie will offer strategies and tactics to minimize this dilemma and ensure attendees make the most out of their busy lives. The one hour presentation is augmented by music and visuals, an enjoyable amount of audience participation, and is followed by a book-signing of Ellie’s second book Ambition - 7 Rules for Getting There (Penguin).

Tickets to this event are $25 for ROM Members and Students, and $27 for the General Public. For tickets and more information, email, visit, or phone 416.586.5797.
