Toronto - The Toronto Police Service and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's assistance locating a suspect wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

On Friday, June 22, 2007, at approximately 7:25 p.m., four people were waiting out front of the Christie subway station entrance at 5 Christie Street.

It is alleged that:
- they were approached by a group of suspects,
- an argument ensued with one of the victims, at which point all four victims were assaulted,
- the suspects were wielding knives and stabbed all four victims.

There were varying degrees of injuries sustained.

Four suspects have been taken into custody. The outstanding suspect has been identified as Leonardo Renato Franco, 19.

He is described as 5’5”, 170 lbs., short dark hair, medium build. He has the word “PERU” tattooed on his right shoulder.

He is wanted on Canada-wide warrant for four counts of Aggravated Assault and four counts of Assault with a Weapon.

Do not approach this suspect if you see him. He is considered armed and dangerous. Contact 9-1-1 immediately.
