Toronto, July 6, 2007 - The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Friday that the team’s prospect camp will be held from July 9th to July 14th.  The camp will include on-ice practice sessions at Lakeshore Lions Arena, a controlled scrimmage against the Detroit Red Wings prospects in Strathroy, and seminars on character development, nutrition, conditioning, lifestyle, media awareness and the business of sport.

The group consisting of one goaltender, four defencemen, and 14 forwards will congregate in Toronto to prepare for six days of activities.

Paul Dennis, Maple Leafs development coach and Matt Nichol, strength and conditioning coordinator, will oversee the theory and practical sessions.  Toronto Marlies Head Coach Greg Gilbert, assisted by Maple Leafs Assistant Coach Randy Ladouceur, Maple Leafs Player Development Advisor

Doug Gilmour and Marlies Assistant Coach Joe Paterson, will conduct the on-ice sessions.
