Toronto - On Monday, January 28, 2008, members of 14 Division's Community Response Unit received information from the Hamilton Wentworth Regional Police Service on the accidental drug overdose death of Andrew Fazio, 26. The investigation revealed that Fazio and friends attended the Comfort Zone club at 480 Spadina Avenue, where they purchased, then consumed, illegal drugs.

14 Division members began a variety of initiatives, in and around the Comfort Zone, to make arrests, especially those involved in the sale of illegal drugs.

For the next six weeks, 14 Division Community Response Unit and 14 Division Major Crime Unit made 13 drug-related arrests, seizing a variety of drugs with a value of $6,000.
