Toronto - On Friday, February 29, 2008, at about 9 p.m., police were called to the Ellesmere Park Community Centre on Canadian Road.

It is alleged that:
- the accused was playing basketball,
- he got into a dispute with another player over a foul,
- the accused threatened to kill the victim, telling him he would shoot him,
- the accused was arrested a short time later, near the community centre, after he threw a loaded .38 calibre Colt revolver in the snow.

Baldwin Junius, 20, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition,
2) Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized,
3) Unauthorized possession of a firearm,
4) Carry concealed weapon,
5) Weapons dangerous,
6) Threatening death

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 10 a.m., in courtroom 412.
