View all articles by Law EnforcementShortly after 9:15am this morning the suspect briskly made his way through a security screening area for domestic flights at Terminal 1 within Pearson Airport. CATSA screening officers and Air Canada crew reacted accordingly and apprehended the suspect without incident. The suspect was turned over to Peel Regional Police who launched a criminal investigation.
Jonathan SIMPSON is facing charges of Threatening, Assault and Mischief and will appear before a Brampton court on January 5, 2008 for a bail hearing.
The incident was contained within a matter of minutes and no injuries or damage were reported. Normal operations were resumed shortly after the male was arrested.
