Toronto - On Monday, October 29, 2007, at 4 p.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call regarding a TTC bus driver who had been assaulted.

It is alleged that:
- two youths boarded a bus in the Eglinton Avenue East/Mt. Pleasant Road area,
- the youths failed to pay the proper fare and were asked to leave the bus,
- one of the youths punched the driver in the face and threw a carton of milk at him,
- the youths then left the bus.

The on-board camera assisted in identifying the accused youth and, on Friday November 16, 2007, he was arrested.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with Assault and Mischief. He is scheduled to appear in courtroom 101, at Old City Hall, on Saturday, November 17, 2007, at 10 a.m.

Under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, he cannot be identified.
