Toronto - The City will release its draft 10-year framework to create and maintain affordable housing on Wednesday. 'Housing Opportunities Toronto: An Affordable Housing Framework 2008-2018' will propose specific actions for governments, the private sector, non-profits, co-ops and others. The framework will help guide extensive consultations leading to a comprehensive plan in 2008.

Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti, Chair of the Affordable Housing Committee, will discuss the report and Affordable Housing Office staff will be on hand to answer technical questions.
