With all the excitement on Halloween night, safety isn't always the first thing kids think about when they are trick−or−treating but, for adults, safety is always a concern. Parents in Toronto will have the comfort of knowing that police officers will be out in force, along with the bright red vans of Rogers Cable, to patrol neighbourhood streets on Wednesday, October 31, 2007.
What: Halloween Safety Tips for Kids
When: Friday, October 12, 2007, 10 a.m.
Where: Toronto Police Service Headquarters, 40 College Street, Lobby
WHO: Superintendent Ken Cenzura, of the Community Mobilization Unit; Carol Ring,
Regional President, GTA, for Robers Cable; Grade Two and Three students in costume from Parkdale Public School, and the Rogers Pumpkin Patrol.
