Toronto - The Toronto Blue Jays announce the 2008 home schedule, which kicks-off with the Boston Red Sox at Rogers Centre on Friday, April 4, 2008 (7:15 p.m.). This marks the third time the Blue Jays have faced the Red Sox at home on Opening Day (1991, 2005).

The Blue Jays will play 36 home games against their divisional rivals from the AL East, hosting the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Devil Rays nine times each. Of note, all three visits from the defending AL East Champion Red Sox will be weekend matches, while the New York Yankees also appear at Rogers Centre for one weekend series. As part of Interleague play, the Blue Jays will play host to the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds of the National League Central and the Atlanta Braves of the National League East, for three games apiece. All Saturday and Sunday games will start at 1:07 p.m.

Season tickets for 2008 are now on sale. Blue Jays fans that have paid in full for 2008 season tickets on or prior to Dec. 3, 2007 will receive free round-trip airfare to Spring Training in Dunedin, Florida and will be provided use of a luxury suite for one game during the 2008 season. This offer is available to both current and first-time season ticket holders. Some conditions, including a pricing threshold, apply.
