Toronto - On October 9th, Toronto Public Library kicks off its autumn Canada Council Heritage Series, Degrees of Nowhere: A Geography of Canadian Writing at Palmerston Branch Auditorium.

Richler will be joined by Russell Smith and Edward Riche, discussing how the Canadian landscape – from urban grit to prairie sprawl – defines and is defined by this country's literature.

The series will feature two months of related city-wide readings and discussions, featuring 16 different authors in 34 Toronto Public Library branches.
