Toronto - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that the Siemens Toronto Argonauts Charity Golf Classic in support of The Argos Foundation - Stop the Violence has sold out for the third straight year!

Each foursome, which includes a member of the Toronto Argonauts, will play 18 holes at the distinguished Glen Abbey Golf Course in Oakville, Ontario, and will be treated to contests, special guests and alumni appearances at every hole. The day will culminate in a banquet dinner emceed by TSN’s Dave Randorffollowed by a live auction hosted by Argos defensive back Chuck Winters. Toronto Argonauts President & CEO, and Chair of The Argos Foundation, Keith Pelley will also address attendees during the dinner.

All proceeds from the live auction will benefit The Argos Foundation – Stop the Violence. Some of the great prizes up for grabs are an all-inclusive vacation package to Varadero, Cuba courtesy of Nolitours, a one-of-a-kind Argos autographed Gibson Guitar,anda VIP package to the Argonauts’ October 6th home game including two pre-game passes, an invitation to take part in the ceremonial kickoff and two VIP seats.

Golfers can also participate in a silent auction for more extraordinary items like two passes to the 2007 Grey Cup Festival in Toronto including: two tickets to the 95th Grey Cup game on Sunday, November 25, two concert series tickets and two tickets to the Nissan tailgate party. Also up for auction will be Movado Sapphire watches, first class train tickets courtesy of VIA Rail, a four night stay for two at the Four Seasons Hotel in Whistler, B.C. and much more.
