Toronto - On Saturday, August 18 (Warriors' Day at the CNE), Canadian veterans of war and peacekeeping missions can ride the TTC free of charge.

Toronto - On Saturday, August 18 (Warriors' Day at the CNE), Canadian veterans of war and peacekeeping missions can ride the TTC free of charge.

Canadian war veterans and peacekeepers will be required to show their service medals in place of paying a fare on that day. TTC Operators and Collectors will be looking for your medals in order to grant you free entry onto the system.

Please wear your Canadian Forces service medals on Saturday, August 18.

Please note: the free ride offer is exclusive to Canadian war veterans and peacekeepers. Persons accompanying a Canadian war veteran or peacekeeper, who is not a veteran, will be required to pay the appropriate fare.
