Toronto, June 20, 2007 - The TORONTO BLUE JAYS announce that RHP BRIAN WOLFE has been re-called from Syracuse (AAA) of the International League and RHP LEE GRONKIEWICZ has been optioned to Syracuse (AAA).

WOLFE, 26, is making his second appearance with the Blue Jays this season. He has appeared in four games posting a 5.40 ERA without recording a decision in 3.1 innings. The Fullerton, California native has made 17 relief outings for Syracuse, posting a 2-0 record with a 1.04 ERA. In 26 innings, has allowed only 18 hits, while striking out 23.

GRONKIEWICZ, 28, made his major league debut last night. He allowed only one run and two hits over four innings (a season high for relievers). The Lancaster, South Carolina resident has spent the 2007 season with New Hampshire (AA) of the Eastern League. He has posted a 3-2 record with a 1.80 ERA and 11 saves in 24 games.
